Justin Bieber, 20, flaunts just about everything — his body, his luxurious lifestyle, etc. — on Instagram, but according to a new post of his on Oct. 27, it seems like he’s ready to more real and show his true colors! Could his ex Selena Gomez, 22, be responsible for Justin’s words of wisdom?

Justin Bieber Instagram Message — Inspired By Selena Gomez We Day Speech?
On Oct. 27, Justin posted a photo with the quote, “Don’t let Instagram define your self worth.”
Interestingly, his caption read, “For those who look at someone else’s Instagram and say I wish my life was like that. Know that often Instagram is not who people really are but who they want people to think they are. I’m choosing to not let other people define me.”
The reason this statement is so interesting is because Selena said something VERY similar during a speech at We Day Vancouver on Oct. 22.

At the annual event, Selena said, “When people look at me, they don’t see a 22-year-old figuring it out as she goes. They see what they want to see.. I know what it’s like to be judged and to be put down.”
In her amazing speech, she continued to talk about social media and the influence that it can have. ”You are not defined by an Instagram photo by a comment. That does not define you. The trick is to focus on the love. Every rude comment, every person that tries to hurt you personally or though the Internet, I want you to forgive them. Just forgive them.”
